Muriel Margulis
Margulis, Muriel M. Huttner Lupowitz passed away in peace and grace April 4, 2011 surrounded by her family. She was 86 years old.

Muriel was elevated to matriarch of our family through love, respect and admiration of all who knew her. She had a keen sense of humor, a great heart and unswerving loyalty to family and friends. She regarded everyone she met with kindness and without arrogance or judgment.

Many friends and relatives too numerous to name, here and around the world, loved her. She was a beautiful lady and a strong spirit who will always be remembered, loved and missed.

This performance by Tom Paxton of the song he wrote, The Last Thing on My Mind, is so moving. One guy with a guitar and a little tie and a microphone. Brilliant and beautiful. It's hard to forget this song.

Noah spent a few weeks with us this summer in New Mexico. We did not spoil him. But we did have a great time!

 

4th of July Double Rainbow Surprise



We enjoyed a full-sky panoramic double rainbow on the Fourth of July - but we did not have as much fun as the Rainbow Gathering, dancing in the mud up in the Jemez mountains.

Scorpion Weed: Don't Touch This

I foolishly pulled up this weed which is growing all over the place this year, and that was a mistake.

It gave me a horrible itchy blistery rash like poison ivy -- I was in urgent care on the 4th of July instead of enjoying the famous Corrales parade. Turns out this is likely the culprit for my three years of "plague" - I had no idea...this year was the worst ever.
